Pat is a graduate of the following institutions: Yale University with a BA in Psychology graduating in 1961,University of Maryland Law School graduating in 1964, Louis Allen Management School graduating in 1977 and West Chester University, MA in American History graduating in December 2004.
From 1964 to 2005 Pat spent over 43 years as an advertising and marketing consultant teaching corporate executives how to develop short and long-term strategic business marketing plans. He worked for Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney & The Glading Group during those years, marketing in the corporate services arena.
Since obtaining his degree in American History in 2004, Pat has had several teaching appointments including; University of Maine – Adjunct Professor, currently teaching at the Maine State Prison (where he developed and taught three college level seminars for the prison) and at Delaware County Community College in Media, PA.
From Dec. 2014 to the present, Pat has also served as a Mid Coast Restorative Justice Program Mentor to recently released clients from Maine State Prison to help in their transition into the community. Additional prior experience includes becoming a partner in Social Venture Partners Delaware May 2003 with the mission to help build the capacity of early childhood learning centers throughout low-income areas in Wilmington, DE. He also spent two years helping two pre-school community centers in Wilmington, DE develop a Long Term Strategic Plan.
He also serves on the following boards: Mid-Coast Forum for Foreign Relations and the Camden Conference.
