John Jeffers worked from 1993 to 2017 in many different progressive mental health care management and broad-based clinical settings, providing leadership by providing guidance and direction in a changing environment.
John is a highly skilled, compassionate, empathetic, and solution-focused mental health and substance use professional dedicated to producing exceptional care and implementing effective treatment and case management. Experience – Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment Clinician, at Mid-Coast Mental Health Center and Maine Behavioral Healthcare from 1995-2017, working as a senior clinician in an outpatient setting within a comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment network that provides nearly every level of service.
John also was a psychotherapist in private practice in Rockland, Maine from July, 1996 to 2017,
providing family, individual, and group psychotherapy (adolescents and adults). Use traditional approaches with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapies. During this period, have supervised or consulted to a series of providers including licensed clinical social workers and licensed case managers.

Hartford, CT. He is independently and fully licensed to practice in Maine.
