63 Washington, Friends House

From the houses… Happy Spring!

It’s been busy in the first three months of 2022! The Friends House provided housing and support to 13 residents and 1 child and 63 Washington provided support to 9 residents and 1 child. Additionally, both houses combined provided 1,425 bed nights, which is an increase of 14.25% from the same period last year.

Spring also brings many new success stories! Leo came to The Friends House in October, 2021. He struggled with stimulants and was headed down a dangerous path. Our staff welcomed Leo and helped him to develop a long range plan for his future. On November 29, 2021, Leo left for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. He graduated from the Marine Corps Boot Camp in February and is now on to his next phase of training and will be a full Fleet Marine by the summer. Congratulations Leo and Semper Fi!
