5th Annual Ride 4 Recovery – SUCCESS!
Our 5th annual Ride 4 Recovery was held on Saturday, July 30th with over 100 bikers participating in the ride from Rockland to Pemaquid and then back to Rockland.
Led by Devil’s Pride again this year, the scenic ride was ended with a barbeque sponsored by the motorcycle club at their clubhouse. Many thanks go to them for continuing to support our mission.
Being one of MCRC’s largest fundraisers, we appreciate and would like to thank all those who participated in the event, especially the bikers, who generously give of their time!
We would also like to thank Norah Hogan and Jo Seal from WMTW channel 8, Portland for covering the event on their morning news.
The list of those to thank is large and wide this year:
Rockland, Thomaston PD, Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Elks Lodge, WMTW 8, Frank FM, Wiggins Meat Market, Megunticook Market, The First, Hannaford Camden, Lincolns Country Store, Devil’s Pride MC, Ned Bacus, French and Brawn, Rock City Coffee, Thomaston Dunkin, South End Grocery, French and Brawn, Valerie and Eric Wass and all of you who lent a hand in some way, even if just there in support.
